I felt like it was time to give my blog a face lift. I had so much energy coming out of my posts that I just didn’t feel as though my blog was portraying just exactly what I needed… or what I wanted it to. So I am revitalized, recharged and full of super good material. I want to stay on the topic of change and bringing change into your life and giving yourself a face lift. As many of you know or are learning, I am one who loves change. I get bored very easily and have always been someone who just needs new faces, new styles, new hobbies and so forth in my life. I also am one who holds on to good things in my life for a while. Trust me, I know something good when I have it! But I love NEW and lately, I find myself seeing how much new stuff I am actually bringing in my life. So far this summer, I have made a couple of new friends, have a new hobby, a new lifestyle, and a couple of new purchases! It has been exciting and it is only July!
I want to see what other new things I can bring into my life. Now some people might slam me for always wanting new, but I am sorry, I set my standards pretty high and new is pretty and shiny and fun! Who wouldn’t want that?!? But I also think that with new things, comes an appreciation of old things. Even though I might have a couple of new friends, whose to say those friendship will last? So that right there makes me appreciate the friends that have been there with me forever… my ride or die chicks. I love my friends and I love that they are old. Old friendships are the best and no new friendship can ever top the old OR ever keep the dinner conversation going.
