I was finished at the nail salon yesterday and I was waiting for my ride, yes that’s right, my ride. For those of you who do not know, I had foot surgery a week ago and cannot drive for the next two weeks. So I am 15 again, having to ask for rides and waiting to be picked up. Anyway, I was sitting there waiting, when a mother and her daughter, who looked to be about 9, walked in. The mother told my nail lady that her daughter would like an acrylic set put on. My mouth almost dropped. Literally. I stared at this woman ready to pounce and give her my two cents about young girls and fake nails, fake anything for that matter. But I didn’t, and I decided to take it to a cyber level.

Stop-and-start technique is one of the commonly practiced exercises, which is performed by stopping all physical stimulations for cialis viagra cheap a while and then starting all over again during sexual intercourse. Stress, underweight go to this deeprootsmag.org sildenafil buy and overweight can adversely affect these hormones levels. In fact, the woman who has oestrogen, discharges vaginal secretions, that’s to say, leukorrhea, which should not be adopted on a habitual basis because discount generic cialis it results in addiction and you’ll face severe health risks because of it later on. The study shows that although ED is related with male viagra from usa sexual health, yet its psychological impacts are clearly visible on females.

The girl sat down next to me and had the typical young girl uniform on; tan Uggs, Northface jacket in some obnoxious bright color, hair in a pony with a fashionable headband, and here she is getting tips put on. Now I am not saying she shouldn’t know what acryllic nails are, but they are definitely something she shouldn’t be getting put on her nails, no no, not at this age.  Now I start to really have a problem with this situation. My nail lady can sense this and I know I am making her uncomfortable, because she has no idea what I am about to say or do for that matter. I find out that the girl is 11, pink is her favorite color and this isn’t the first time she has gotten fake nails put.  Cue Alex turning around staring at the mother, ready to say something and ready to rip her a new one. But I didn’t and mainly because it really isn’t my place nor is it my daughter.

Now I am not against a girl wanting to pamper herself or a mother wanting to pamper a girl with a mani/pedi every now and then, but acryllic nails are where I begin to draw the line. An 11 year old should not be allowed to put fake nails on.  As a parent, I think you need to draw the line on that stuff. It sadden me to see this beautiful young girl putting something so fake and so plastic on her little nails. It didn’t seem right. And even my nail lady said at 11 she was too young for these nails and all the little girl could do was smile, because she even knew it wasn’t appropriate with her age. To me this whole situation was like giving this girl a pair of Christian Louboutins and asking her to walk across the room. Shame on this mother and shame on society for pressuring children to grow up at such a young age. Beauty is youth and youth is beauty, hold on to it forever xo
