If I knew where to start, I guess I wouldn’t be here. But really this time, I am just fresh out of excuses. I am out of excuses for making time to blog. Making time to do something that I really enjoy. It is pathetic. But that is what happens to you when life comes flying at you like a ton of bricks. It all just hits at once, and it hits hard.
Work is insane. Is that an excuse? We lost half of our team and, well right now, we are just trying to stay afloat. There isn’t time to sit and whine about the work load we have had to take on, but rather we have to adjust and just figure out how to do things quicker.
It is hard being a homeowner. Is that an excuse? With two dogs, a demanding job and a lawn that needs to be cut almost every three days, I am over doing this all on my own. It sucks and it is a lot of work for one girl. I am proud to be a homeowner before the age of 30 and I do take pride in the fact that I mow my own lawn and try to do a lot of household stuff on my own.
I don’t make time for myself, but rather make time for others. Is that an excuse? No, that is just pathetic, especially when I have numerous blog posts that talk about putting myself first and finding my own happiness. But have I learned? No, not really. I am still the one always reaching out to people who have fallen out of my circle, trying to bring the connection back or wasting time with conversation that has to be forced from the beginning. It is time to close some chapters and free up some personal space in my life.
