takeout

Last week we decided to support a local restaurant and placed a group order at my office. We chose Bellini’s Counter in Latham and I was pretty disappointed. I felt for an $8 salad (yes, it did have chicken), I would get more than what is pictured below. I tried to place my water bottle next to it, but it was about the size of potato chip dip container. Needless to say, I was starving after finishing what I ordered. While I am a huge supporter of Bellini’s and in love with their food, I have noticed over the years that the prices go up and the portions keep getting smaller. Bellini’s Counter is a dine-to-go option of Bellini’s and it failed miserably, or perhaps it followed in practice with Bellini’s concept of pay more, get less.

I will give Bellini’s Counter a 2 out of 5 when it comes to their takeout. Quality was good. Quantity was bad. Price was average. Yes, We Are Open, but maybe you should be closed.
